Greetings everyone I guess the time has come,
Every company I've ever done business with has contacted me with an update on how they're coping with the Coronavirus outbreak. So I've decided to write one too. CYNE Cleaning intends to show up for work until the time that a shelter in place order has been given, or if either of us have symptoms or fever. There are some safety measures I feel need to be taken in light of this viral outbreak.
Please if anyone in your home is ill, immune-compromised, or simply uncomfortable with us coming into the home, CANCEL your cleaning we will be waving our cancellation fees at this time. Depending on how long this Hiatus lasts we may need to charge a little more when we return for the first clean, before returning to our normal rates.
All equipment will be thoroughly sanitized and disinfected after each property and frequently between wet and dry areas during properties. Rags will only be used in small areas before being replaced. We will only be cleaning one property a day in order to do laundry and sanitizing of all business materials.
To help minimize exposure for us and for you. Please could you help by going outside for part of your cleaning. We will focus to work quickly and efficiently to get your specified area done first, so that you can remain unbothered there until we leave.
Also we will be paying special attention to all handholds and touched surfaces this includes doors, knobs, frames, Cabinetry inside and out. We will be sanitizing with extra care all regularly handled items, if you want your computer keyboards and devices to be cleaned please shut them off and ask specifically otherwise we will leave them alone at this time.
I understand the need to be extra clean these days so if you are instituting a more regular cleaning regimen around the house, please consider what we've previously said about products containing bleach while we live in Florida. Unless you are going for a whitening effect, things like hydrogen peroxide, Simple Green, fabuloso, and vinegar with added essential oils, or rubbing alcohol can all do a better job of eliminating bacteria and viruses as well as eliminating fungus. When we use bleach we leave phosphates behind that act as food for fungus. With the high humidity in Florida we can't afford to leave food for mold and mildew in our wet rooms like bathrooms, kitchens, & window sills.
We will be increasing our chemical use, we'll continue to use our handcrafted cleaning products, in addition to Lysol both gel and disinfectant spray & fabuloso, alternating with simple green, and alcohols.
We will not be charging for these extra measures because of the crisis, though all tips are always appreciated. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding during these trying times we look forward to continuing your standard of cleanliness throughout this coronavirus scare.
Please don't hesitate to call with any questions, concerns, or to simply cancel your appointments we completely understand and appreciate your business. We hope everyone stay safe and has a wonderful spring.
